Keeping January Organised

January

Happy New Year! When life can seem so changeable I believe it is so important to be organised and keep to a routine as much as possible. In this months blog I have highlighted some of my top tips for helping you through January.

Lists

Things I want to do list

I find it helpful to have a list of things I want to do. If I find myself thinking what shall I do now (this doesn't happen often), I take a look at my list. Mine has things such as make a photo book from all the pictures I took, to making shortbread. You could have a personal list and a work list!

Time

Routine

I set an alarm for every day at the same time, even if I don't actually have to be up. I find that getting up and going for the day keeps me productive with my client work. Having a good morning routine can set you up for the day.

Organised

Clear desk clear mind

Although it may seem simple, I really find that having a clean and tidy work environment helps me with my work. I feel more organised, comfortable and can think clearly. Sitting surrounded by piles of paperwork doesn't work well for me. Why not have a January blitz of your desk and go through everything that you have, you maybe surprised what you don't actually need.

Walk

Exercise and daylight

I am not going to tell you the benefits of sunlight and exercise, I am not a doctor. However, I can say that a lunch time walk from a home that I am spending the rest of my time in really helps me. From boosting productivity to a change of scenery. It doesn't have to be an hour walk, 20 minutes fresh air works wonders!

It you take one of my tips on-bored it would be great to hear what you think. None of them are rocket science, however sometimes you need a gentle reminder of the simple things!

Keep safe,

Lucy 😊
