Celebrating Success: A Double Finalist at Prestigious PA Awards

Achieving recognition for your hard work and dedication is a gratifying experience. This year, I had the honour of being a finalist in not just one, but two prestigious awards ceremonies that celebrate excellence in the Virtual Assistant world. The East Midlands PA Awards and the Strategic PA Network Awards, both brought together talented professionals from across the country.

East Midlands PA Awards - VA of the Year:

The awards ceremony was on Friday, 8 September 2023 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport, where I was nominated for the VA of the Year category. Held in Derby, the event was a gathering of the best administrative professionals in the country. The PA Forum Awards celebrated the achievements and contributions of virtual assistants who consistently go above and beyond to make a significant impact in their roles.

As a finalist, I had the opportunity to showcase my skills, experiences, and the value I bring to the world of virtual assistant. The competition was fierce, with talented professionals, each with their unique stories of success. It was an inspiring evening filled with networking, and celebrating the collective achievements of the administrative community, along with with great entertainment.

Strategic PA Network Awards - Virtual Assistant of the Year:

The recognition didn't stop, in October, I found myself heading to Reading for the Strategic PA Network Awards' 2023. This time, I was nominated in the highly competitive Virtual Assistant of the Year category. The Strategic PA Network Awards are known for honouring professionals who demonstrate outstanding skills, innovation, and adaptability in the ever-evolving landscape of administrative support.

During the evening there were three fantastic keynote speeches; Lindsay Taylor (Your Excellency) with a session titled “Open the Window”, Euan Godbold (The Chief of Staff Association) on leading ‘Career Growth: Chief of Staff Core Competencies’ and the brilliant duo that is Sid Madge and Paula Harding participated in ‘A Fireside Chat: A Strategic Partnership’.

The event in Reading was a wonderful evening, bringing together some of the most influential figures in the administrative field. The Virtual Assistant of the Year category was particularly competitive, highlighting the incredible talent and diversity within the profession.

Being recognised as a finalist at both the East Midlands PA Awards and the Strategic PA Network Awards was a wonderful experience and an amazing achievement!
