5 Reasons for Sending a Christmas Card

I don’t know about you, the joy I get from receiving a Christmas card and displaying it in my house is wonderful, I really feel the sender has thought about me. It’s the same with clients, sending them a Christmas card indicates they are special, that you care and value their custom. Here are 5 reasons for sending a Christmas card;

1.  Keep in contact with your clients

The receiver of a beautiful handwritten Christmas card knows you are taking a personal interest in them and value their custom, not only for the past year but for the coming new year ahead.

2. A Christmas card will remind your client who you are and what you do

Having cards designed by a printer highlighting what your business does with your logo will stand out from every other card on they receive.  It will market your business over the Christmas period and will be on display for all to see!

3.  Receiving a Christmas card is so much more personal than an email

When you receive the post do you open the handwritten envelopes or the typed ones first? Your card is far more likely to be open if it is handwritten and definitely more likely to be opened than a generic email. Some IT providers blocks messages from mailing lists, meaning they may not even receive your email.

4.  It shows your clients that you are real people

The best business relationships have a personal element to them. A personalised Christmas card is one of the easiest ways to remind your clients of that fact. So don’t just send out the same generic message to every customer, include a handwritten message; it will show you have gone the extra mile.

5.  Stand out from your competitors

Greeting cards are a billion-pound industry in the UK, and with good reason. That means your competitors are probably thinking the same thing. With so many businesses sending Christmas cards to their clients each year, it helps if you can find ways to differentiate yourself and stand out from the crowd. Contact me to see how I can help you send a handwritten personalised card and stand out from the crowd.

Wishing you a stress free lead up to Christmas!
